Perfect for a refreshing swim and quiet nature escape.  The falls got its name from the Visayan term “Dam-ag” which means “fell off”.  This is because visitors may feel like they could fall down walking through the narrow and steep pathway leading to the falls.

Heritage Churches

Visit centuries-old churches, the Baclayon Church and Albur Church — The Church of Immaculada Concepcion in Baclayon is considered to be one of the oldest in the Philippines. The Albur Church was established in 1869 after being separated from Baclayon town and was built using coral stones showcasing the classic Spanish colonial architecture with intricate ceiling paintings.  Despite damages from the 2013 earthquake, both churches have been carefully restored, preserving their heritage while continuing to serve as a place of worship.
